CONDITIONS OF SALE
ORDERS
Every effort is made to keep all nursery plants true to name and free of pests and diseases. All other claims including any for consequential loss are hereby excluded.
Orders are accepted subject to plants being available at time of delivery because however hard we try no plant grower can escape risk of crop failure. Our liability is limited to replacement or refund of the price paid: according to a customer’s wish.
PRICES AND VAT
All orders are at sold at the price quoted for purchase on website and at price quoted, if different, on nursery site, Ivyhouse Lane, Hastings. All orders are VAT inclusive.
PAYMENTS.
Payment please with orders by cheque, card, cash (nursery site only). Putting superb quality before massed quantity we aim to dispatch just some 10.000 young plants from our nursery from Jan to end July 2008.
Because our plants are the size they are when dispatched there is no advantage to you to have delivery outside the months Jan- July. See under pricelist – when to plant.
DELIVERY
Plants in stock are carefully packed and dispatched, usually on a Monday, in specially designed cardboard boxes, by next day delivery. A nominal charge as quoted on the website under price list is made for posted and packaging.
DAMAGE AND COMPLAINTS
Must be reported, e-mail, telephone, or letter within five days of the customer signing the receipt of delivery. For example if you sign for plants on a Thursday, you must complain to us by following Tuesday 5PM. Complaints are dealt with as swiftly as possible, usually next day unless we are extremely short staffed.
